If the sync is set on start/quit but not on edit, what will happen if i switch off the device with the Toodledo app running? will it sync the last changes or wait until i exit the app (after switching the device back on)?

Thanks

When running, the iPhone app always syncs on wake. It also syncs on sleep, if you have made edits on the iPhone. Not sure what happens on sleep with no edits. One benefit (or drawback!) of turning off "sync on edit" is repeating tasks no longer duplicate when checked.

If you have sync on start/quit turned on, it will sync every time you launch the app. If your app supports multitasking (iPhone 3G and up) it will also sync in the background when you quit/sleep the app.

With sync on edit turned on, it will sync any time you make a change with the app open.
