Auto Toggle Subtasks

I really like the sub-tasks feature. I thought that I would be disappointed with the lack of only 1 depth, but so far its working very good.

However, what I dont like is that I have to always click Toggle Sub-tasks to get my tasks to show in hierarchy mode every time I switch a view. It seems to me that this should be the default. What is the point of using of subtasks if you have to toggle them on. Maybe this could be a user selected option?

Thanks
Jake

It is a user selectable option. Just go into the "filters" and select "nest subtasks" or "flatten subtasks". It will remember your setting on a view by view basis.

Thank for you response.

Is there a way to make the subtasks nest, but expanded by default?

This is not yet possible, but we plan to support it in a future update.

I would like to cast my vote for the implementation of the default nested, expanded subtasks as well.

Cheers!

Yep, me too. This would be a very useful feature.

FYI, if you use Firefox, there is a user script to do this with Greasemonkey: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/2304/0/greasemonkey-firefox-script-for-auto-show-subtasks.html
