Date Completed Field

I cannot turn off the date completed field. It doesn't show up in the fields used selections and since most of the time I'm not showing completed tasks that column is always empty and a waste of space. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Interesting. When I sorted by folder the date completed field went away.

The date completed field is only displayed when you are sorting by that field.
