I am having a hard time understanding how to set a location reminder...please tell me this is still a function of your app and how to set it??

It is still a function. You will need to first enable the location field and assign a location to some tasks. Then in the Settings section of our iOS app, go to the "Location Alarms" section and enable alerts there.
