I read a theme back in 2011, which said: "If I have my default priority set to "Medium" for new tasks, how would I configure the syntax for a forwarded email so that it comes in as "Low"?"
And the answer then was that it was not possible.
Is this now possible or not yet?

Still not possible. Sorry. The "forwarded email" feature is not very popular and there is a limit to what can be done with symbols and words in the subject line.
