Notes - Change creation date?

I would like to use Toodledo Notes as a diary/journal.
I propose cut 'n pasting a few entries from my present note keeping app (Evernote) into Toodledo.
I will need to get the notes into their original date order, i.e I need to be able to edit the "Date added" field.

Is there a way to do this?
The only alternative I can think of is to start each entry title with a date in the forma yyyy-mm-dd and then sort alphabetically.

Any ideas?

Hello,

It's not currently possible to edit the date added field, but you can add a time stamp while editing the note and edit to the correct date.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, but that doesn't help because I need to be able to sort the notes in date order.
The date stamp merely inserts the current date at the bottom of the not.

I have been asking for that for two years now and they act like they don't understand why i would want to have that feature. Dates are important if your journal correctly

I would put it into the title like you suggested. We do not currently support modification of the creation date of items because we use the creation date internally for various optimizations. Allowing it to be editable would break some of our optimizations.
