Hide completed tasks

I'm sure there is a simple answer, but is there a way to hide completed tasks from my Hotlist view without deleted them?

Just to the right of the Add Task box near the top left is a "Show" button. Click on that, the click on "Completed Tasks".
If you haven't discovered this filters box yet, give it a go, very useful.
