Completed Tasks Don't Hide on iPad

When we complete a task on our ipads and check it off, the task is still visible, along with the new task for the next day, despite the fact that I have the 'show' settings on 'hide completed task' and 'hide future tasks.' When I click on the 'show' menu to check it, the tasks do refresh and hide. Why do I have to do that? I would like the tasks to hide right away once they're checked off, and not show the next day's tasks until the next day. Is this possible? We are using Toodledo as a daily chore list.

The "just completed" task will remain there until the list is refreshed. This is intentional so that you can edit that task if you need to before it goes away. You can refresh a list by sorting, or tapping the show button twice like you are doing. Or by going back and then forwards again.

Yes, this has been a small annoyance for me, too. What about a 'refresh' button to speed up the clearing out of completed tasks?
