Siri Setting Does Not Turn On

I have an ipod touch 5th gen, newest os, connected to internet via local WLAN. Siri works fine. I go into toodledo settings/reminders syncing and the option to turn on Siru does not toogle from OFF. I am able to slide the 'delete after import', but i cannot turn on the Siri sync options. What am I doing wrong?
