Android Sync Issue

I am using Toodledo on my desktop and Android device (HTC One). I just added some new folders using the desktop application but they do not show up as choices in the pick list using the Android app. This is a new behavior. Folders I created in the past do in fact show up. I am using v5.5.0 (120) on Android. I also kjust noticed that tasks created in Android do not show up on the desktop at all BUT tasks created on the desktop in fact DO show up in the app.

I have manually synced and resigned in to the app.
