Why is the calendar view gone when choosing due date for a task?

Hi,
I have a comment about the Android version, and I'm using a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact.
Toodledo has been getting better and better lately.
However, I was a bit suprised when I saw that the calendar, that shows up when choosing due date for a task, has been replaced by a three-column date/month/year dialog window. Now it's not possible to have an overview which weekday to set a due date, and to scroll from month-to-month calendars.
I feel that this is a step backwards for a useful function that really worked.
I hope you will consider to put this back to how it was, as this new solution is not optimal at all.
