Still synchronization issues

Hi-
I have an ipad, iphone and the web. I seem to be able to get my iphone and ipad in sync, but when I log into the website, I notice old items I deleted and sync'd through the iphone/ipad still exist on the website, and the next sync re-downloads all of those deleted items back onto the iphone/ipad! Its turning to be unusable - is this a known bug?
