Is there a way to add an end date to a recurring task?

I see a way to complete a recurring task, but wouldn't that delete it from my history and habits. For instance, I am taking a class and want a reminder to do homework every 3 days but the class ends June 15. I tried using the completion date, but it just doesn't look right. What am I missing?

When you are done with a repeating task, you can just delete it. The previously completed versions will still be in your history. If you prefer you can edit the tasks so it is no longer a repeating task and then complete it one more time.
