I'm a little confused at how the "List field" works in list. How is it any different than a text box? This is what I'm trying to do...
Create a christmas shopping list for each person and have a sub-list under each person of the three gifts I need to purchase. The fields are: Checkbox (when completed) / Text (for the person) / List Option (for the three gifts I'm buying) A. Jam B. Frying Pan C. Bread So, when the List Field asks for an option, I only get one option. That's what confuses me. I hope this makes sense. I just need a better explanation as to how this field works. The "List" column will show you a menu that contains all the options already entered into this column. If you have 3 rows with 3 different values entered, then each of these values will be available to select from when adding the next row. If you want a different value, you can type it in by hand to add a 4th value to the options.
