Using repeating tasks with subtasks

I am confused about subtasks and how they work with repeating tasks.

For example, I have hypothetical task "Update the website", repeating every month, which consists of several smaller subtasks. Each of the subtasks needs to be done every time website is updated:
- Collect material
- Write article
- Publish article
- Process feedback

The problem is that when I complete a subtask, it stays completed and never reinstates itself for the next month.

Is there a way to create subtasks which reset their state every time parent task is reinstated? I know it can be done using repeating subtasks, but I really don't want to mess with it because subtasks don't have due dates or repeat intervals. Only the parent task has a due date. I don't want to pollute my Hotlist with bogus due dates.

Any ideas?

Subtasks have an additional repeat option "with parent" which I believe is what you want. See the section "Repeating Tasks with Subtasks" on this page: https://www.toodledo.com/info/subtasks.php
