Task Pro states that this can sync up with toodledo. Is this only to download the information 1 time or can this be used to maintain toodledo on a regular basis. I like the way this app works over the one that toodledo's app.

What Task PRO does is somewhere between a sync and import/export. They call it Import/update and Export/Update. Basically, you can use it on a continuous basis, but there are several significant problems. For one thing, no hierarchy at all is preserved. Toodledo can't handle Task PRO's infinite levels of hierarchy, but for some reason, they don't even try to sync the one level that Toodledo could handle. This means every time you import/update or export/update, all the tasks come through flattened. It is way to time consuming in my opinion to rebuild the hierarchy, so this is a major flaw in my book. Even more stunning to me is that, though Task PRO is all about Tags (that is the only field the app has other than Due Date and Priority), it does not sync Tags with Toodledo. Seriously, it's just ridiculous. Of the 7 apps that currently sync in some way with Toodledo, Task PRO is the worst (not the worst app, it makes a nice standalone, but the flaws in their sync strategy are crippling IMO).

If you have more questions about Task PRO please address them to Alifsoft, the app's developers: http://alifsoft.com/taskpro/
Or post in the Third Party Applications forum.

Can I have a App suggestion to use on my Iphone which will keep subtask level on sync with Toodledo ?

I'm using Taskpro, and by upgrading my toodledo account from free to pro I was expecting that the task and subtask level will be kept. But it's not the case.

Task Pro has been a constant disappointment to me. It is a nice app, but they have failed to increase the quality of integration with Toodledo (despite the developers claiming in the past that they planned to do that). Now they have announced a desktop sync app to work with their next version, so I think we can pretty well conclude that there will not likely be much further improvement of Toodledo sync. So much potential, so much wasted potential...

Okay sorry for the minor rant. For an iPhone app that will actually sync its subtasks with Toodledo subtasks, you have three options currently:

Toodledo app: http://www.toodledo.com/info/iphone.php
Todo: http://www.appigo.com/todo
LifeFocus: http://lifefocusapps.com/

All are good apps, and which is best depends on your personal preferences, and your way of using Toodledo. I recommend looking into them to see which might work best for you. There are free "lite" versions of both Lifefocus and Todo. There is no "lite" version of the Toodledo app, but it is about a third of the price of the other two.
