I've tried to use dial2do to add some tasks with due dates on them but have not had any luck. The tasks are added but there is no due date/time so I don't get reminders.

The other option I thought of was to use the dial2do interface to send an email to my toodledo address. In the email I wanted to add the # sign or = sign using words such as "pound sign" or "equal sign".

Has anyone had any luck with this type of configuration?

Not much luck either. The best thing to do is call them in. They will go into your "No Folder" folder. Then you can sort them out when you get to the app.

Another option would be to SMS the tasks in via twitter. I do this all the time. You can use all sorts of special syntax to get the task setup just the way you want.

I used SMS via. Twitter with much success before I got my iPhone.

Anytime I used Dial2Do, I simply added a task to my Inbox for a quick capture/mind dump. Never tried to say a date and time.

try also Jott.com ... I've used it for a year and it integrates well with Toodledo
