If you don't want to save changes you've made in an existing task, is there a way to do it at all?
ie: I make a change to a note in a task, then decide I don't want to do that, how do I cancel the change?

If you haven't saved the change yet (ie: you are still editing), you can use your web browsers built in undo functionality to undo what you have typed. If you have already saved the changes, then there is no undo functionality. This is on our to-do list.
