about canceled status

the "canceled" status doesnt remove my task from my hotlist. am i missinterpreting something. because in that case i rather delete the task.
ps: i realized that the server (or servers) of Toodledo arent very fast but in the task's details i can see that the status is canceled so the operation of removing of the hotlist should be instanteneous but it doesnt

The "status" of a task is really just a label for you to use. Toodledo does not perform any automatic actions on a task based on the status that you give it. If you want to make the task go away, you can mark it as completed, set the priority to -1 or delete it.
Also, the forums do not have an rss feed.
