How do you use the notebook ? (Workflow totally broken)

There is no keyboard shortcut for going to notebook and most importantly for adding a new note. This is very unfortunately as the keyboard is what I often use for writing notes. Flagging things like that on the forum currently isn't a feature. I tried flagging you as "Made of whine," for example, but it didn't go through. It worked when I filled out a support ticket though.
