I just downloaded the latest version, which adds german translation.

Now Toodledo on iPhone/iPad ist as ugly as it is possible:

50% of the buttons aren´t readable any more or are meaningless because of the shortend text.

As an example: Adding a new task gives two buttons:

"Aufgabe hinzu..." - Add task....? What?
"Bearbeite Einz..." - ????? What the heck does that mean?

The interface is not suited for the longer germans words, so, please: How can I go back to have englisch as interface language?

Thanks

Not sure if this still applies, but, from a previous post by Toodledo:
The language of the app is controlled by the language settings on your iPhone. Apple does not provide a way for the language to be selected on a per-app basis.

After looking at all the screens of the app: The german translation renders Toodledoo useless. What you see is mostly dots.

Entering task details leaves you with

anfangsd...
fälligkeit...
erinner...
fälligkeit...

This renders the application useless and - its UGLY.

And, besides, ist wrong: In German we use Captial Letter It should read:

Anfangsd...
Fälligkeit...

So. Deleted it from Phone and iPad, bought ToDo, which looks WAY better.

Thanks for listening.

You must switch the whole iPhone to english.

I complained 3-4 time on that about the french version. There is according to him NOTHING to do about it.

Note: I wouldn't mind having my iPhone in english but there is a bug and half the OS text is really messed up. (still better than having TD translated)

Ps: This forced upon "improvement" has been provided free by Mr anonymous, You are now the one responsible to fix it (free)

To TD : WHAT DID YOU EXPECT ? No need to understand German to figure out that If half the text on a button get lost there is a problem.
Even if the translation was "perfect" many people might not want it.

We will make continual improvements to the translations by adjusting and repositioning buttons. If you want to help us by providing better translations please contribute your feedback here:
