Just to try it out, I edited a to-do on both my iPod Touch and online on Toodledo. What happened was after I synced, was that the online to-do was overwritten with the the corresponding one on my iPod.
However, shouldn't I get a dialogue box asking me to choose between or keep the conflicting to-do's? What's the philosophy behind this choice?

Ideally, you would get a warning, but we haven't implemented this yet. Currently, the iPhone will win if the task has been edited in both places.
I should point out, that to my knowledge, none of the iPhone apps provide this sort of warning. Hopefully Toodledo will be the first one to do so :)

Well I was used to the Palm platform and my MobileMe account on different devices. In my experience syncing is handled very precisely on both platforms, although MobileMe is quite buggy.
Thanks for your reply and keep up the good work!
