I'm setting tasks with specific due times, both in Outlook and in Toodledo. How do I get a pop-up on my iPhone at the due time? Thank you.

Unfortunately, Apple does not permit third-party applications to set alarms/reminders. We hope they will in the future, so that we can support this.

Thanks

Hi,
I get around this restriction by adding alerts to the Toodledo iCal feed, then subscribing to the feed on my iPhone. In your iCal feed, you can add a VALARM like so:

...
ATTENDEE;CN=Sowsinsk:MAILTO:[email protected]
DTSTAMP:20080902T124919Z
DTSTART;TZID=America/Detroit:20080825T140000
BEGIN:VALARM
ACTION:AUDIO
TRIGGER:-PT15M
END:VALARM

SUMMARY:Do something important
DESCRIPTION:Do something really important
...

Your iPhone will then alert you before the due time, even when the phone is in your pocket.

Currently, I'm downloading my Toodledo iCal feed, and adding these alarms manually. It would be *awesome* if they came along with the default iCal feed--it would make using Toodledo on the iPhone so much more powerful.
