I am new to Toodledo after trying almost everything else out there. Toodledo rocks!
So I thought, I was so clever! I would sync toodledo with gcal - then sync gcal with my iphone - and get my task notifications! Clever, eh? It didn't work...
I got toodledo calendar into google via the ical link. Of course, now I have two calendars - my personal + toodledo. When I set up google calendar on the iphone using their Exchange Server hack, only my personal calendar shows up, leaving toodledo in the dust. :-)
You were clever. You just didn't follow through. I assume by "their Exchange Server hack", you mean Google Sync for mobile. Yes, you can have both calendars, and it works great for notifications. That is exactly what I use it for. The part you missed, if you are indeed using Google Sync, is that you have to go here: http://m.google.com/syncon your iPhone!
The instructions are here: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=139206&ctx=sibling&topic=14252
You can sync up to 5 different calendars with Google Sync. Just remember to set it to "push" in the iPhone settings if you want timely notifications.
