Error 1001 Message on Installation

jaa9972	Posted: Dec 24, 2008 Score: 0 I am trying to install the latest version of Chromdrake's Toodledo's Outlook sync client, but keep getting an error during installation. It says: "Error 1001: Ecall methods must be packaged into a system module" I searched the developers forum and couldn't find anything on this error. I have made sure that Windows Installer Services is running, but that didn't help. Anyone have any ideas about how this can be fixed?
keef	Posted: Dec 24, 2008 Score: 0 did you shut down and uninstall the old version first? That is the most common installation issue. Try uninstalling/ rebooting and reinstalling the software. If that doesn't help, a 1001 error usually indicates an issue with your .NET framework installation. Try repairing that and make sure that you have all the lastest service packs and windows updates applied. keef
