i've the Problem that while syncing Tasks with Outlook for some Tasks I have multiple Entries in die Webfrontend.
These duplicates Tasks does not sync back to Outlook. In Outlook everything is ok. A little bit special is that the Tasks in Outlook are generated and updated by a vb script from MS Project.
I'm only updating some fields in Outlook but never the ID.
So I really often have a List on the iPhone which is multiple time as big as the real List in Outlook. I could not find any Information which are the matching criteria between toodledo Tasks and Outlook Tasks. So I'm not sure whats going wrong.
Does anyone has an hint, why the correct sync fails.
Are you getting any exceptions or errors in the trace log on the Diagnostics panel?
thanks for the fast Response. The Behavior is a little bit strange. After my Post I deleted the Version 9.9.3 and returned to 9.9.2. Now the Error does not appear anymore (til now).
I reviewed the Log of the deleted Version and found this Error:
SyncApp.exe Error: 0 : Error during synchronization: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 39.
at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(String res, String arg)
at System.Xml.XPath.XPathDocument.LoadFromReader(XmlReader reader, XmlSpace space)
at System.Xml.XPath.XPathDocument..ctor(TextReader textReader)
at ToodledoClientLib.XMLUtil.evalXPathQuery(String xmlDoc, String expression)
at SyncApp.frmMain.backgroundWorker1_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
I don't exactly know whether the Error is directly related to the Log Entry because not appeared every time I synced.
I will watch the Behavior with Version 9.9.2.
Beside this little Problem I want to tell you that I really enjoy using the Synctool. It's very good and makes a lot of things easier.
Thanks and Greets
