Batch Add/Edit/Delete in API

I am making a desktop to-do list app and am in the process of syncing. The user will potentially have added, edited or deleted more than one task between syncs. Instead of calling Add, edit, or delete for each individual item, is there a way to send the API several items and only hit your server once?

Thanks
Jake

We plan to add this, but right now you have to call it once per task.

This could quickly eat up the request limit. It needs sorting out for any serious apps being developed.

I don't understand why the request limit is so low. RemembertheMilk allows 1 request per second, why is toodledo so severely limited to only allow a max of 2 a minute?

Remember the Milk also restricts the API to only people that they have approved to use it, whereas Toodledo allows anyone to use our API. Because we allow anyone to use it, we have to have tighter restrictions to protect our server from misuse or sloppy code. However, we are happy to lift the restrictions for anyone who has a good reason to do so. Just send us an email or create a support ticket with your AppID and what you are using it for.
