I have downloaded the Outlook Sync Tool to use with Toodledo. I am noticing that any repeating tasks, whether they are created in Outlook or Toodledo do not sync correctly.

The task is created Ok, but the repeating part is ignored. Is there anyway to correct this?

The Toodledosync supports a master/slave model for recurrence where only one end of the relationship (Toodledo or Outlook) knows how to repeat tasks. This means that you need to set your recurrence pattern in either Toodledo or Outlook, but that the recurrence information itself wont be synced.

Under this model the master end (lets assume it is Outlook) will manage the recurrence and will create a new task whenever a repeat occurs. My application will then sync this task to the slave end.

The reason I don't sync the recurrence information itself is because otherwise both ends would create new tasks when the recurrence triggers. This would create duplicates as both of the new tasks would be synced to the other end.

Let me know if you are still having problems
