I use TaskUnifier (free) and the ToodleDo plugin (<$10) and set it up to store the data files in DropBox. This way I can use TaskUnifier on other machines, accessing these data files (not at the same time, though!) in DropBox.

A couple of caveats - The data files will not be synced by DropBox while TaskUnifier is open, so make sure you close the application and wait a few seconds for syncing to complete. Don't let your computer sleep or shut down without closing TaskUnifier and letting it sync or you may lose data. Make sure that you set TaskUnifier to do regular backups.
