Then it probably means your proxy blocks the taskunifier website (to download the plugins) :

Try open this url in your browser :
http://taskunifier.com/plugins/plugins.xml

I suppose it will be blocked by your proxy.

Hi,
I second Peter suggestion :

3) Group separator bar in tast list. For example, if sorted by context, separate each context group with a labeled bar, or at least a plain separator line.

Is a must have feature....

Thanks

Hi Again,
I've got it working. I took my laptop home and connected on my home Internet to install the ToodleDo plugin. Having done that, it now works perfectly at work, even with the proxy button not ticked.
Thanks

Hi Again,
As a PS having just read you reply, I can load the XML file in a browser fine. It's just getting the login in TaskUnifier that wasn't working.

Ok, thanks.
It's strange, but it is working now, that's the most important.

Hello, Benjamin!

Thank you for a great app! I tested my app and chose toodledo with taskunifier. But this it has got a major minus for me - timezone moscow. Now it's UTC+4, but in TaslUnifier UTC+3. Could you debug it?

And which one is correct ?
Did you check the timezone in Toodledo's settings ?
Is the hour at the bottom right of TaskUnifier correct ?

It's probably a wrong timezone in the settings of java.
In the next release you will be able to select the timezone in Settings -> Date.

I have uploaded a new version (2.1.1).

You can select your timezone in Settings -> Date -> Timezone.

Please keep me informed if the problem is solved or not.

Thanks

I just installed version 2.1.1. I'm thinking of purchasing the ToodleDo sync plugin to speed up the sync process. I'm also thinking of purchasing the Google Calendar plugin. Anyway, I have some questions.

1. How do I prevent completed tasks from showing up in my folders? I don't necessarily want to delete the completed tasks (at least not immediately) but I don't want them to appear in the folders either.

2. What is the purpose of the setting "Show Completed Tasks at the End of the Lists?" I've tried it both checked and unchecked and I can see no difference.

3. Right now the setting for "Keep Completed Tasks" is set at the default value of 14 days. If I change this value to anything else (say 1), how will that work? Will it delete the completed tasks in TaskUnifier but keep them in ToodleDo? Or will it delete the completed tasks in both places in 1 day?

Thanks.

Hi Rick,

1. Above the lists on the top left : Show completed task

2. The completed tasks are showed at the end, instead of behing sorted with the other "non-completed" tasks.
Of course if you deselect "show completed task", there is no difference.

3. Yes, nothing is deleted from Toodledo except if you manually delete a task in TaskUnifier.
So, only the old tasks in TaskUnifier will be removed, but if after you change this value again, the tasks will be re-downloaded from Toodledo.

Ben (or would you rather be called Benjamin?) -

All good answers. I now have TaskUnifier (can I call it TU? I like to type as little as possible<g>) now not showing completed tasks. I completely missed that checkbox.

I have to tell you that I'm very impressed with your support. I've noticed that when I post something you respond within a matter of hours. I write software for a living so I'm pretty well in tune with what a good response time is.

I figure if someone responds within a day, that's better than most. I don't think it's ever taken you that long to respond. That's very impressive.

Thanks again.

Rick

When I updated to 2.2, I lost all my folders. It now says "Shell" instead of the folder names. Any advice?

I got the update notice in TU that 2.3.0 was available but, when I go to SourceForge to download it, it's not there. It looks like it should be there since all the history areas reflect its availability, Source is there & Binaries directory was last updated 2012-03-07 but there's no 2.3.0 folder & the primary download is still 2.2.0. Where are the 2.3.0 binaries? Did I overlook something?

P.S. Would you rather have feature requests/bug reports/usability suggestions here or via the "log a ..." in TU itself? (Please forgive me if that's already addressed here. I haven't had time & sufficient attention span to read through the whole topic yet!) It's OK if the answers are different for each of those categories. I'd just like to do it via whatever method you most prefer. Thanks!
