I had tried that but future tasks were still shown despite the filter activated. I have just figured out what I was doing wrong. In fact I didn't activate the "Start Date" field in "Fields & Defaults". Now the future tasks are hidden.

PS: The interface is a little confusing tough, I can't wait for the new version to be released again.
