This is a very good way to handle a problem. I have been using the app all the time, satisfied with the 3.0 upgrade. I could agree to some of the complaints, but it was not a big issue for me.
However, when the problems started to appear, the way you have handled us, your users, is excellent. And the way you have gone through the whole application shows me you are taking problems really seriously. That is the best PR you can get.
