THANK YOU for reverting to the older design. Love the larger, cleaner buttons and formatting. ToodleDo on the iPhone is one of the biggest reasons I use ToodleDo. I'm sure it was not fun to revert after spending lots of time on the new design, but I really appreciate getting the old design back.
Obviously understand that others feel differently (prefer the newer design)... any chance you could create two separate products?
Or just view by Due Date, and select Today. I also have a search that I use to update previous items to today that's the same as what cspence outlined - but then I use multi-edit to update to today.
LOVE on Focus - great work. Small bug: when I go to search - then multi-edit and change the due date, the dialog box for due date pops up behind the main dialog, making it invisible.
