It's no insult, It is very good for what it was meant to be used for. But plenty of other feature would have come free with a 3rd party forum solution.

Many quality issue with Toodledo force us to use the forum. Poor documentation being one of them.

Toodledo is breaking the ZOI rule. Zero One Infinity with subtasks

The Zero One or Infinity (ZOI) rule is a rule of thumb in software design. It suggests that arbitrary limits on the number of instances of a particular entity should not be allowed. Specifically, that an entity should either be forbidden entirely, one should be allowed, or any number (presumably, to the limit of available storage) of them should be allowed. It should not be the software that puts a hard limit on the number of instances of the entity.

Examples of this rule may be found in file directories. The top-most directory has zero parent directories. Each subdirectory has exactly one parent directory. Each directory may contain an infinite number of files or subdirectories. An example of a violation of this rule is that some operating systems impose a hard limit of 65,536 files in a directory.[1]

From Topic: Task dependencies?

I have been using Toodledo for more than a year and these are the main reason I'm about to quit.

No task dependencies.
No useful level of priority (low med high, when one has +200 task is futile)
No way to order task manually.

Toodledo is good for setting reminders, but for it being a productivity booster... an important piece is missing.

Completely agree with you Benny.

I personally have springboard icons that link directly to my customs searches. And that help.

... no support for custom searches ...

I have to agree that custom searches is one of toodledo most powerfull feature.

But I don't see what stops 3rd party from doing their own custom search.

There is a 3rd part software that perform very well on that front. :

I'm about to code a better sync that would include sub-sub tasks.

An error pop-up on every task page when I use the script in Firefox 4,:
"TypeError: this.range is undefined"

When clicking the forum for the first time I get : "TypeError: $ is not a function"

The forum one was also present in FireFox 3.6

I think people can read your task-list / folder by going to an url, that's about it.
