If its a word that occurs a lot, and one you search for alot, consider using tags.

That way you can create a custom search for it whenever you need it.

Oh thank god.

I'd hate for someone to hack my account and find out how often I maintain my cats litter trays, and various other chores.

Its probably because the task is generated by the TD API, and not actually being handled by the email parser.

I agree.

I'd take new features over new design everytime.

A lot of the "New" productivity tools dont even have great design.

It's minimalist BS.

I'd really appreciate having Time Completed as an option to add to the output.

I log tasks to a spreadsheet, and having time completed would be very beneficial.

In fact, you've inspired me to do it myself, as I have also been interested in a solution for this. :)

A few ways you could do it.

One example for walking daily would be:

Create an "Optional" task that recurs daily for "Walking", and link it to a Goal called... "Walk Daily"

Everytime you complete it, it will add a link in the chain for that goal.

Otherwise, you could create a recipe in IFTTT that logs all of your completed tasks to a Google Drive Spreadsheet, and create some formulas to track when you last completed certain tasks.

I can go into more detail if either sounds daunting.

To stop people bumping old requests that have already been logged.

Anyone else think Goals are important enough to have their own tab at the top of the page?

I use goals quite a lot and would like to see them given a bit more prominence, and functionality.

Its definitely an advantage of TD that I haven't really seen other solutions embrace.

That is all.

This could easily be done by exporting your tasks to a CSV file, and then doing a formula in Excel to count the tags used in each task.

You could then pivot on them to show average tags per folder.

Or anything else you might desire.

If you want powerful custom reports, that would be the best way.

Sorry, Just saw your response earlier.

Do you use Google Calendar?

If so, just create a calendar for Events, or Exhibitions, and mark them all in there.

You can leave that calendar off in your default view so you are not reminded of it. And you can look at it when you specifically need it.

I have lots of calendars like this.

Block out the dates of the exhibition in the calendar, and but mark your time as being free.

Then if you have specific places to go at certain times, make them appointments with reminders.

Or if you have specific things you want to achieve while you are there, make a to-do for each of them, and plan it out like that.

Whats the speed of IFTTT like?

i.e How often does it ping the TD servers to see if I have a new task?

Absolutely fantastic.

Is a few little icons, and some colored text really going to motivate you?

Just get on with your tasks!!! How about that for motivation?!

I run a website too, and it has been compromised on a couple of occasions.

Never fun.

Thanks for the notification.

I'd stop worrying about it, and get on with doing some of the tasks.

Sounds like you've got work to do!
