...The one thing I don't like about new Standard plan is the one week task history which is quite a drop from 2 year history that was available under the Silver plan. In terms of value, having only one week of history is like having no history at all....

Yes, I agree - only one week of history? For a paid plan the minimum should be longer than that, but unsure how long -- maybe six months.

I'm better with the pricing of the standard plan too.

Okay, for seven years I've seen many forum posts and finally have had enough - one helpful suggestion for anyone who add long feature requests to system posts like this; even if the post mentioned: "give me your ideas..." ... Don't.

Please, please create a separate post dealing with "ONE idea at-a-time" in the questions area. It might be a GREAT idea, but is likely unseen because it's buried somewhere in that massive post!!

Also, please stay on-topic too. Create another post to discuss suggestions not pertaining to the primary topic.

The Toodleldo community has good ideas. Thank you for your time.

Well, this is one big, "Hmm, how dumb do I feel" moment. That did it. Thx!

Don't feel bad; I had to ask the question too!!

If you paste multiple lines, it should automatically recognize this and split the new lines into the individual tasks

That was a nice surprise! Adding multiple sub tasks, as directed, worked for me using Chrome v60. :)

Thanks for the bug report. I think we can do a better job of browser based alarms. I will add this to our to-do list to improve. For now, please use the in-app alarms or email based alarms to get your reminders.

Chrome has not displayed alarms for a very long time. Alarms trigger fine from the Android App (ver 6.5.3 (154)).

The test alarm displays correctly when activated via https://www.toodledo.com/tools/alarms.php

Chrome notifications settings page ( chrome://settings/content/notifications ) is set to allow alarms from these toodledo URL's:

Am I missing something? Thank you.

I have created 4 repeating tasks - one every first Tuesday, one every second Tuesday, one every third Tuesday and one every Fourth Thursday (all repeating weekly).

That's exactly the (only) way to accomplish it in Toodledo.

This locked topic explains the problem: https://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/20597/0/android-hotlist-not-showing-due-after-and-due-on-today.htm l

The hotlist widget is not displaying future tasks when the task is set to "Due on (=)", "Due After (>)", nor "Due optional (?)"

Setting the task to "Due by" will show the task in the widget.

Is there another setting I'm missing? FYI Setting show/hide future tasks does not seem to fix the problem.

Thank you.

p.s. forgot to mention; this has happened for as long as I can remember. Also, I'm only interested in showing tasks due the following day.

Thanks pawelkaleta & Jake.

As pawelkaleta noted, other defaults may be affected as well.

Keep up the great work Jake; and crew!

My default context is set to "Personal" within "New Task Defaults."

Case A) View tasks list by "@ Context" and select to view by any context (e.g. "Personal", "Work", etc). Create a new task; the default context value is set to the selected context.

Case B) View tasks list by "@ Context" and select to view "All Tasks." Create a new task; the default context value is blank, that is empty.

In case A; It's good that when a task is created, the "viewed" context is set as the default task context. However, why isn't the "New Task Default" used for new tasks when viewing "All Tasks?"

Thank you.

In fact you could drop the numbers in the Priorities and only keep the Top, High, Low, Negative, and color these texts or the entire field with red, orange, blue, grey.

I agree - adding "things" increases clutter. Coloring the priority background or the text itself seems better to me.

So in chrome, my main browser, the new task view is not synching. I modified some tasks yesterday in the old task view .. but the mods have not changed in the new task view. I've done refresh, restarted chrome, etc. .. still the new task view is not updated.

When I go to firefox .. the new task view is correct .. hence, it appears to be a cache problem in chrome.

I saw this after submitting a trouble ticket - sure enough, tried the new task view in IE, instead of Chrome, and my "missing" tasks are visible again. I'll update my ticket. Thanks Bob

One thought about the tasks display; When a field (like due date, tag, etc) is not set to a value then nothing should display, that is it should not display "No Due Date" or "No Tags". Maybe a user defined setting to choose what is displayed; blank, no ..., a special character (like a single middle dot), or your own defined text.

Currently when I review the list my eyes seem to gravitate to the "No ..." text items.

Thanks

Add "trigger every # seconds" option to "Alarm Insistent" notification setting. I'm thankful for the new (new to me) insistent alarm option but it's way too insistent. Having the option to trigger every # seconds would be GREAT! Thank you.

For tasks, tap the magnifying glass and enter search text. Now, what's the correct way to clear out the search term, so NO search text is active? The search term stays active until I "clear all apps" from Android's task manager.
