How can I get notified when a collaborator does something?
If you share a task, you can get notified when your collaborator makes a change to that task. To do this, select "Collaboration" from the "Tools" menu. Then, on the left side of the page, select "Activity Log". All of the collaboration activity is recorded on this page.

If you want to get email alerts when changes are made, check the box on the right side of the page. Update emails are sent every few hours when there are changes to report.
