Jott.com is a third party service that automatically converts your voice into a text message. Using Jott, it is possible to add a task to your todo list by speaking into your mobile phone.

Keep in mind that Jott is no longer free. In order to use Toodledo with Jott, you will need to have a paid Jott account.

Setting it Up

1. Go to Jott.com and follow the directions to create an account.
2. Click on the "Add Jott Links" link and then click on "Premium Links" and scroll down until you see the "Toodledo" icon and click "Add".
3. Change the link name to something else if you desire and click "Save". You will be redirected to Toodledo.com.
4. Click "Yes".

Using Jott to Add a Task

1. Call Jott (1-866-JOTT-123).
2. When asked where to send your Jott, say "Toodledo" (Pronounced "Two-dull-due").
3. At the beep, speak your task. For example, "Go to the gym".
4. Hang up. The task will be added to your Toodledo to-do list within a few minutes.

Speech Recognition Problems

If Jott is having a difficult time recognizing when you say "Toodledo", you can change the prompt to another word or phrase. To do this, sign in to your Jott account and go into the Jott Links section. Click the "edit" button next to your established Toodledo Link. Now, replace "Toodledo" with any other word or phrase. For example: todo, my list, remember, etc.
