Outlook loses existing colours

just recently got into TD which is a great tool
My problem is that I have a colour coding system for my Outlook diary events which seems to be affected by using ToodleDo sync conduit. After an hour or so ALL my calendar events lose their colour and category.
Is there something I might have overlooked?

What are "Outlook diary events"? Do you mean tasks or appointments?
What do you mean by "Toodledo sync conduit"?
There is no official application (i.e. made by Toodledo) that syncs with Outlook tasks, and, as far as I know, there is no application that directly syncs Toodledo tasks with Outlook appointments.
