how to create a google event?

I'd like to automatically create a google calendar event via ToodleDo.
e.g a task that's associated with a specific date/time.
Currently I create the task with a due date, add a status and a context then and put it in the Calendar folder.
I'm already using Google Calendar and thought it'd be nice if the task would show up as an event w/in the calendar.
Is this possible?
