I am a fairly new user. On toodledo.com and in the different task views, if I change a sort order, and then click away to another view and then come back, my preferred sort order is lost. Is there a save settings or something I need to do to make that save my preferred view? Or is this a shortcoming?

The Sort order is saved for each View, e.g. Main, Folder, Context, etc.
There is no "preferred sort order". Each view can have a sort order. |

Try this. Set the sorts how you want them. Now refresh the page. It should refresh with the same sort. If it does, then it is saving your sort correctly. If not, then there may be a problem with cookies on your computer or some other problem. Please let us know.
