I can enter new tasks on my phone or via the web and they sync with each other - no problem

However, even tho I always set a start date and a due date, and even tho I always click add reminder and even tho I always choose a time to RECEIVE the reminder on my iphone - it is very hit or miss.

Many many times I do NOT get a reminder on the iPhone. Is this common? What can I be doing wrong?

Reminders are "pushed" to your iPhone from the Toodledo website. This means that if you create a reminder on your iPhone, you'll have to Sync first for that reminder to work. If you create the reminder on the website, then it should always work, as long as your iPhone has access to cell service or WiFi.

The latest version of the iPhone operating system allows multi-tasking (on iPhone 3GS and 4), which means that eventually push notifications will not be required if your iPhone supports multi-tasking and Toodledo offers local alarms.
