How about a preference setting to let you either call it No Folder or Inbox?
Cause in reality, No Folder IS a folder with the name No Folder. If it shows up on the Folder list, it's a folder. |

Having the same issue on N. Using an app lik Due Today that syncs with ToodleDo works just fine.

Ok, looks like they showed up. It appears there is a five minute delay. Need to play more with IFTTT.

I just set up an IFTTT recipe. It says the recipe was triggered, but nothing got added to Toodledo.
I'll have to keep experimenting. Thanks for the tip! |

I would love to be able to add tasks to Toodledo using my new Echo.

Does 2Do support syncing the status field? I just spent $5.00 to buy ToDo on my iPad and found out doesn't work with the status field. Very annoying.

A couple of comments late in the game, but still somewhat helpful ( I hope.) I use Toodle Status a LOT. I would love to have linked tasks.
As an example. You have 2 tasks for a project to travel to California. The first task is to buy a plane ticket. So, you mark that as a Next Action. The next thing you need to do is give your boss the flight information, which you don't have yet, so that gets marked as waiting. You then link one task as a dependency of another. You then go any buy the plane ticket and mark that task as complete. Soon as you do that, the status of "Give Your Boss Flight Information" automatically changes from Waiting to Next Action. I also agree that the Notes feature, though a nice feature is somewhat weak compared to other offerings. The ability to use another service for Notes such as Evernote and have integrtaion into Toodledo would be nice. |

I'd like an Inbox. I use uncategorized tasks as my inbox. But I would like it to actually be called Inbox and have it's own link.

The new UI was such a huge improvement over the old one! I will sit at 3.0 forever rather go back to the old UI.

I know it's July, but I would be happy to beta test. I am a licensed user.

Posted Jun 23, 2011 in: Anything besides Chromatic Dragon for Outlook sync?
Score: 0
I have been using Chromatic Dragon for Outlook syncing and it works very well. The only issue I have is that it can't sync the Status field, which is a field I use quite a lot. It's very GTD friendly and is not supported by Chromatic Dragon.
I know I could probably use tags to do the same thing, but then the apps I have on my phone (Due Today Lite) and on my Mac (TaskSurfer) would need to all get reworked. I was wondering if there was a way to get status to sync over into Outlook using another app. |

Has anyone found a way to create a Searcher that shows tasks due today, without needing to update the searcher every day.

I have bought a number of apps on different platforms that sync with toodledo and I have never spent more than $9.99 on anything. |

Also just noticed that the top menus are now File then View and and Edit. Shouldn't they be File then Edit then View?

I can't get the Toodledo plugin to download. I have my proxy information configured, and it shows me the plug availability on the list, but when I try and download it, I get the following:

I purchased Task Angel a while ago. Now I see a Java app (cross platform! yay!) has come along called TaskUnifier. Has anyone used both? What are the pros/cons of each app?

Posted Mar 22, 2011 in: Chromatic Dragon does not sync back contexts and folders
Score: 0
I just installed Chromatic Dragon and was THRILLED to learn that I can now create custom fields in Outlook and sync over folders, contexts, and tags.
The problem I have now is, if I create new contexts or folders in Outlook, by adding the name in the appropriate custom fields I created in Outlook, these names do not sync over to Toodledo. On the Toodledo side, the folder and context are blank. If I create the contexts and folders first in Toodledo, then things sync up fine. I am wondering if this is an API limitation or a limitation in how Chromatic Dragon does things. |
