Thanks for the suggestion. We do not comment on timeframes for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

Thanks

We are looking into these two bugs.

The auto-close bug seems to happen when a sync finishes.

I see the problem now. If the only thing the note contains is a very very long URL, then yes editing that note could be difficult. I just tried, and it is possible if you are very careful to click above or below the link in the white space. You can also switch to "Multi-line format" for viewing your tasks and then click the note icon to edit it. We'll look into optimizing it. In the meantime, you can add some other text to your note so that there is something to click.

"Link: http://www……"

In the blue ribbon along the left side of the page, click the icon that looks like a folder. Then click the folder you want to look at.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think what you are asking for is actually a third view: Grid, Multi-Line, and for lack of a better name right now, "Lite".

Please refresh your browser and see if it is better. We had made the note field narrower to improve readability, especially on wider monitors, but since people didn't like this we have backpeddled a bit and found a place in the middle that keeps the note wider, but still prevents it from going off the right hand side of the screen if the note is really wide.

I am sorry if our change is making it frustrating. This is certainly not our intention and we are working quickly to address everyone's issues with our recent changes. We want to be able to improve this website, but we also want to avoid disrupting people's workflow. This is why we need input from our users like you.

I am not sure that I understand your feedback and I am hoping that you can elaborate. It sounds like you are in the Notes section and trying to look at your list of folders and then select a folder to view the notes in that folder. Is that correct? If so, what you need to do is click the folder icon in the blue ribbon on the left side of the screen. This will show your list of folders in the sidebar just like before and then you can click the folder you want. If this doesn't answer your question, please let us know.

There is a special syntax that you have to use to add a task to a folder/context via email.

http://www.toodledo.com/info/help_email.php

Keep in mind that if your context is named "@computer" then the syntax means that you need to send a task with a subject of "New task @@computer"

Yes, if the task is due yesterday at 9:21 then the alarm will not go off today. An alarm only goes off once.

If you want the alarm to go off every day at 9:21, then you need to have the task be due every day as well. You can do this by making the task a daily repeating task that has the "optional" setting, which will automatically move it forward to the next day even if you didn't complete it.

We did change the width of the notes attached to a task. Before, notes were the full width of the task list, which could extend past the right side of the screen, making it really hard to read the note because you would have to scroll horizontally back and forth to see each line. Also, narrower blocks of text are easier to read. This is why newspapers use narrow columns. So, we shrunk the maximum width of the note a little bit to make it easier to read.

The Oultines section requires Android 4.2 or higher. I think that might be why your tablet doesn't show that section.

We'll try to do a better job of communicating the rationale behind our changes. It will be hard to do it in advance, because you may not know what we are talking about without seeing it, but we'll try to be better about explaining what we did and why we did it.

IE9 should look and behave normally. I think you have your version of IE9 set to "Compatibility Mode" which makes it behave like IE7 ( a browser we no longer support ). Try turning off "Compatibility Mode" by clicking the broken page icon in the URL bar. Or, if you can upgrade to IE11, that would be a better solution.
