So, we would have to build some sort of search functionality into the parent field and this is much more complicated. However, something like this is on our todo list.

The watch app cannot do anything by itself. Because of this, when you add a task or mark a task as completed on the watch, that action just goes into a queue. You have to launch the iPhone app for that action to get processed, saved and synced. Apple has announced WatchOS 2.0 which appears to remove this limitation and we are hoping to improve our watch app in the future to be more responsive and work better in the background.

We should automatically remove the first invite. I'll make sure we take care of this in the future. For now, the way to remove the first invite is to go into it and uncheck all the checkboxes and press save. Then you can send a new invite. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted Jul 27, 2015 in: Select Parent Task Field Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Jul 27, 2015 Score: 0 There are two ways to create a subtask. 1) Create a task and then drag it into the parent task. 2) Find the parent task first, then click the "add subtask" button in the action menu. This will add the new task directly as a subtask.

The way you should do it is have a real person do the authentication once. This way they can enter their password and 2-factor key (if configured) without compromising the security of their account. Once they authenticate your app will get some tokens which you can use as long as you want to use the API without any further user action.

Toodledo wasn't really designed to track and log email conversations. You might be better off managing the conversation in your email and maybe put a link to that conversation into the task's note so you can go there whenever you need to see the conversation.

The other thing is that the website does the repeating, so you need to sync the app for the next occurrence to get generated. If you don't sync then the app will not have the next version of the task. Also, when you are looking at your history of completed tasks. Previously completed repeating tasks will not have a repeat option set. Only the current version of a task has the repeat field filled in. This is by design, since an old completed tasks is just a placeholder to show what you did and is no longer a repeating task.
