Toodledo does not use basic authentication. We use OAuth, which is different. I am sure that there is a Python library for OAuth. Here is our documentation:

Check your subtask display options in the "show" menu and make sure its set the way you want them to be by default. We do play to bring indented subtasks to the iOS app in a future update.

A snoozing alarm is on our todo list.

The task's not appearing on the phone, but on the website probably means that a filter on the phone is hiding them. Try selecting "show" from the menu in the app and make sure the filters are set properly.

Its hard to say without knowing more about your tasks. Its probably because the task are hidden for some other reason, like a future start-date or something. Try increasing the time available to 2 hours and see if some tasks show up. If they do, then maybe those tasks haven't been set for partial work.

You could set the "status" to "canceled" or you could tag the task with a tag of "failed".

We are working on the ability to fail a habit intentionally so that you can distinguish between failure and "forgot to log it" and also to remove it from your inbox. It is clear that a checkbox habit needs to have a fail state. Example: "Don't eat candy". If you eat a piece of candy you fail for the rest of the day.

It isn't clear to me how you can fail at a rating or number habit. Can someone please provide a scenario where you could fail at either of these?

What happens if you start with "show indented" and load the page that way. Does it look correct?

I think this is the intended behavior, at least for the two tabs on the same view (due-date). The reason is because Toodledo keeps track of what list you were last looking at within each view so that when you return to that view, it can show where you last where. For example, if you are looking at the "today" list and you go somewhere else and then return it should still show the "today" list. Since this is saved to the website whenever you refresh the tab in your browser, it will go to your most recently used list. Which I understand isnt what you want, but it is the designed behavior.

A refresh on the folders list should not cause it to go the due-date section and I was not able to reproduce this issue. If you can reproduce this, then it is a bug.

They are not on the same syncing cycle. The habits section syncs on its own automatically. Try switching into the habits section and then double tapping the habits tab at the bottom of the page. This triggers a manual sync. You should not need to do this normally.

Please refer to my answer in that old question. This is a fundamental constraint of web browsers and not something that Toodledo can control. Sorry.

You can control how your subtasks are displayed by clicking the "Show" button and selecting the option that you want to be permanent when you refresh.
