There are many apps that work correctly so I suspect that the problem is with the OAuth library that you are using. Are you using the Google OAuth library perhaps?

If you have our iOS app, you can also look at the sync settings in the app and make sure that "sync timezone" is enabled.

Getting a faster internet connection would help. That probably isn't possible. I recommend organizing your tasks into folders or in some other way so you can look at smaller lists that load quicker.

One thing to note is that each time you use a refresh token to get an access token is that you get both an access token and a new refresh token in return. You should discard the old refresh token and use the new one. This may help with your error. I will also investigate what the issue might be.
