In the link that you provided, Jake says this:
There is probably an old completed task that still has the wrong capitalization. Have you searched for completed tasks?

Toodledo does not sync with Outlook.
Your question is about a 3rd party tool that syncs with Toodledo. Please contact the company that makes that software for assistance. |

There's only one version of the Toodledo iPhone/iPad app. If you don't already have it, then you'll have to purchase it if you want to sync with the Toodledo website.

Toodledo can do complex searches.
And, all searches have an implied "If statement". You want a search based on "If today is Saturday". That's not possible in Toodledo. You can, though, create a task that repeats "every Saturday". See: How do repeating task work?. |

Toodledo is a combination of "to do" and "toodle-oo", which means good-bye, as in "cheerio and toodle-oo". It's a bit like TTFN -- ta ta for now.

For now, you can see the names of your deleted tasks by going here:
https://www.toodledo.com/delete_log.php There are several backup tools here: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/import_export.php BTW, what do you mean by "something went wrong"? |

As I noted in my original post, I'm using the MYN (Manage Your Now) system....That system doesn't use due dates, only start dates. Yes, but it seems that the system can't do what you want it to do.Somewhere, somehow, you need another date. You can wait for Jake to add it to Toodledo or you can use a date that is already available -- Due Date. Or you can make sure you remember to change the start date when you finish the task. Or you can try JPR's suggestion. Or you can ask Linenberger. This message was edited Mar 13, 2013. |

It can't repeat from a date it never had. Actually, it had the date -- the first of each month. The simple answer is to not change the Start Date, or least examine why it is necessary to change it. Perhaps the Start Date should be the first Monday of each month instead of the first day of the month. In any case, I can imagine situations where you just want to defer the task a couple of days but you don't want to change the date of the next occurrence. Seems to me, though, that this would require using another date besides Start Date, something like, uh, Due Date perhaps? |

Well, the reliability is better than when it first came out but I've stopped using it, mainly because I find the interface to be too complicated, especially the Task section.
I just want a small number of lists, filtered and sorted the way I want them. Pocket Informant has Smart Filters (which are like a less powerful version of Saved Searches) but they show up at the bottom of a screen that also shows Inbox, Folders, Contexts, Tagged, Starred, Next Actions, and a bunch more lists. The Calendar does show tasks, though. |

Perhaps this Help topic will give you the answer:
How do I show or hide task notes? |
Purveyor |
The most powerful Calendar/Task/Contact/Notes iOS app is Pocket Informant.
It can sync with Toodledo Tasks and Notes, Google Tasks and Calendar, and iOS Calendar, Reminders and Contacts. Also, there's Pocket Informant online sync. It has Smart Groups (saved searches) and multi-task editing, and a lot more. But, it is even more complicated than DateBk6. |

I think it would be much more useful for the release is stabilized to work on some of the core feature requests which deliver significant value, notably true multilevel subtask support and other topics which have been mentioned (but as subtaks is the feature I use the most, I would love to see this feature as well as the bugfixes/ minor improvements already noted for subtasks). I agree that core feature requests should be done next but it's highly unlikely that "true multilevel subtask support" will be implemented in the iOS app, given that this feature isn't available on the website. I'm assuming you mean having more than one level of subtasks. If that's what you mean, take a look at this post by Jake a year ago: https://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/13692/-66418/need-the-ability-to-add-subtask-to-subtask.html |

Your backup plan should be your regular backups of your hard drive ... and you regularly backup your hard drive, right? ;-)
You can Google to find out where the iOS apps are stored on your computer, depending on which operating system you have. Then you can make a copy. Also, if you've already upgraded the app on your computer, you can find the previous version in the Windows Recycle Bin or in the OS X Trash, as long as you haven't emptied it. And, here is the previous version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5vpeefb21ldirf5/Toodledo%203.0.1.ipa Anyway, if you hated the first new version, you probably won't like the new, new version. |

When Toodledo brings them in they have no repeat showing. Toodledo does not bring in anything from Outlook.Which software are you using to sync with Outlook? You need to contact the company that makes that software. This message was edited Mar 08, 2013. |
