I've been with Toodledo for years, never found anything to match it, had a subscriptiopn etc. But I've given up, the iPad app just doesn't work anymore and the iPhone app is problematic. So following a few comments I decided to try RTM in parallel. Now I've bought a subscription and I'm totally changing over. Goodbye Toodledo, you were great for a long time. So sad to see messages like these (totally get it, just sad) |

Working fine with me on Chrome. Try the newer tasks.toodledo.com?

upper left hand corner (expand the left bar menu).
this is using tasks.toodledo.com (as there appears to be two versions of the website, the older one and a more PWAsque version on tasks.toodledo.com, which is what I am referring to). |

Click on the "eye" icon on tasks.toodledo.com, which is on the upper right hand side of the screen near your profile icon and the word "sort".
https://tasks.toodledo.com is newer. Not quite sure how to refer to it (progress web app?) but it is snappier and works faster. The older www.toodledo.com has a very slightly different interface and feels slower overall (relative to the tasksdot). |

Plus 1 on Autohotkey solution. On the Mac there are other similar solutions like Typinator or Text Expander. On Chrome -- since this is where you use Toodledo -- recommend trying https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/auto-text-expander-for-go/iibninhmiggehlcdolcilmhacighjamp

Sorry but not able to replicate the bug you are reporting. Is this on the web version?
Are you using the tasks.toodledo.com interface? |

Web or iOS? Or are you referring to a web browser running on Safari?

I think the two views are:
1. tasks.toodledo.com (new version) - right add 2. toodledo.com/tasks (old version) - left add You can select a default view when you log in by going to settings -> Default Views -> Task Section Version |

Top bar = quick add task. Keyboard shortcut key is "q" for single tasks only. You can use the "/" to smartly tag it with a folder, context, due date, etc... depending on your configuration.
Right bar = more complete and structured way (no fwd slash shortcuts) to add tasks. The better use for the one on the right is to when adding multiple tasks. |

I can imagine that the lack of responses from Toodledo team is frustrating. I checked your posts and those were pretty detailed suggestions/feedback points.

Probably a typo. I imagine the Free version won't have the collaboration features. Just guessing though as someone who works at Toodledo should be able to answer definitively.

More of a hack -try adding a note but keep the note empty, just enter one line (enter key). Then before printing, open all the notes (keyboard shortcut "Z") . This way you have some space between tasks.

I think they are trying to hire a Communications / Support person to handle these forums.

I share some of the frustration, but I think they are trying. They did push out a beta in end March, but that caused problems (it would crash on mind). It looks like (though getting a direct explanation is always great) that they rolled it back rather quickly. So at least to me, it's working fine now.
