Hi,

Is there a way to be added in the Tools & Services page ?
A form ? An email ?

Thank you

Ok, it is fixed, it will be released soon.

When you add a task, it will switch back to All Tasks and select the new task.

When you said, the task is added randomly in the list, in fact there was a bug in the sort function.
"All Tasks" filter is sorted by due date then by title, but only the first column was sorted.

Hi,

Well, the list on the left, is only a list of filters.
So yes, for the moment, if you add a task, and that the new task doesn't fit the selected filter, it won't be shown (that is a problem).

But setting the fields of a new task to match the selected filter might not be the solution.
For example, if I create a custom filter with lets say : condition Completed = Yes ?
I create a new task which is completed ?

By the way, in the settings you can define the default values for the fields of the new tasks.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback, I will try to improve this.
Maybe show the new task even if it doesn't fit the selected filter, switch back to the All Tasks filter when you add a new task or as you said, only for contexts/folders/goals/locations create a new task with the selected c/f/g/l... I have to think about that.

@marhfer: In the new version 0.6.2, I have added a "create report" button when an error occurs.
Is it possible to resync, create the report and post it ? Thanks

@arys: Of course it should only show the error message. I will fix this.

@marhfer: yes, I admit personal search hasn't been fully fully tested, some combinations of column/condition/value might not work and some errors aren't displayed yet. But I will re-test the status condition.

Concerning the "Error while parsing response", it is probably the xml from Toodledo which I do not parse correctly. Do you know if it fails during add, edit or delete ? It could help me find which action doesn't work correctly.

It will think about the scheduled synchronization.

Thanks for your feedbacks.

What I don't really understand :

In my account settings, I choose, for example GMT + 3.
A add a task with due date 15/12/2010 11:00.
The due date is in my time zone, right ?

When I get the tasks via the API, I retrieve a timestamp which gives me 15/12/2010 11:00 GMT.

I don't understand that, shouldn't it returns 15/12/2010 8:00 GMT ?
Then I add the three hours (GMT to GMT + 3) ?

I'm also facing problems with the timestamps of the tasks.

I think add/edit and get do not use the same timezones...

@jick.nan

1/ API : clean, build, create-jar
2/ GUI : clean, build, create-jar

You should have a jar in TaskUnifierGui/dist/TaskUnifierGui.jar.
Then you simply have to put the lib + resources folder in the same folder as the above jar file.

But if you only want to run it, you can simply download the binaries : TaskUnifier_0.5.2_other.zip

@piyush_soni: Thanks for the info, I'm updating TaskUnifier to use API 2.0

@PeterW: ok, thanks, I will test that again, did you tried the last button in the Toodledo configuration screen, the one which is supposed to remove everything from TaskUnifier and fetch the data from TD again ? (because last time I tested it, it was working well)

Hello,

I'm currently updating my software to the new API, but when I try :
http://api.toodledo.com/2/account/get.php?key=123;f=xml

It always returns :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<account>
<userid/>
<alias/>
<pro/>
<dateformat>0</dateformat>
<timezone/>
<hidemonths/>
<hotlistpriority>0</hotlistpriority>
<hotlistduedate/>
<showtabnums/>
<lastedit_folder/>
<lastedit_context/>
<lastedit_goal/>
<lastedit_location/>
<lastedit_task/>
<lastdelete_task/>
<lastedit_notebook/>
<lastdelete_notebook/>

With key=123, it should, I suppose, return an error.

Thanks

Well,

1. Is only to know what to do if you have modified a task in Toodledo and in TaskUnifier.
So, TaskUnifier will keep the application version, keep the toodledo version or keep the last updated one.

2. When you synchronize with Toodledo, TaskUnifier will remove (from your computer only) the tasks that are completed for more than x days.

So if you click synchronize now (with 2 days), only the task completed for less than 2 days will be kept (they won't be removed from Toodledo of course).

For the "Excessive API Token Requests - user blocked for an hour." error, Toodledo limits the number of API requests, 60 requests per minute I think. I will try to see if a can improve that or if there is a bug in my application. (You can still use the web interface, it only blocks the thrid-party application for one hour, sorry).

Hi, thanks for the comments.

@art_spencer
I have never seen this bug, I don't really see how it could happen, is it possible to send me a screenshot ?

TaskUnifier isn't synching continously, it only syncs when you click on the synchronize button. So you can use it offline. When you quit the applications everything will be saved on your computer.

@PeterW
1. Yes, I know, changing the theme on the fly sometimes do that.
But there is no real solution, maybe I should put a comment stating that it is only a preview and that you need to restart the app when you have found a nice theme.

2. Of which settings are you speaking about ?
By "the way I set it up" you mean you have configured a high amount of days for the "Keep completed tasks for x days" ?

3. Yes, you can add/remove fields by right clicking on the column. You can of course also reorder the columns
I plan to add a list mode also when I have some time.

Unfortunately not, because java on these phones is not the same version as the one installed on real computers.

Hi again,

I still havn't received any feedback, but I just want to tell that I have fixed a bug during the connection with Toodledo (the password was sometimes incorrectly crypted).
